Theme for the day -- long and winding roads that lead to good places. This morning we went to Cumberland Falls -- the "Niagara of Kentucky". It was a beautiful and fitting end to our KY adventure. On to Paul and Reba's! So exciting to see them again! We arrived here at about 2pm and the wonderful aroma of blueberry buckle filled their lovely home. Reba is an amazing cook! After lots of hugs and a tour of their house filled with music and charm, we had a delightful lunch. I brought some old photos of Paul and our family and we had fun remembering old times -- Reba loved glimpsing into Paul's childhood. This evening another dark and winding road took us to the Carter Fold -- a blue grass venue just over the Virginia line that celebrated the Carter/Cash family. So cool! We enjoyed listening to the music and watching the dancers who just couldn't stay away from the floor. Some wore tap shoes to accent their steps, some went barefoot to glide more easily, old, young -- it didn't matter. Even Bill and I couldn't help but give it a go. The music moved us all. An enjoyable night and a great day all around!
